– Wellington Blaze won their 1st game quite comfortably against Canterbury by 44 runs.
– Young Georgia Plimmer and Rebecca Burns will open the Innings. Burns was out cheaply but Plimmer who is a local gorl scored a good 34.
– Amelia Kerr will bat 1 down followed by skipper Maddy Green at 4. Kerr is a star Allrounder and was star of the show last game with her 71 with bat and 4 wicket haul with bowl.
– Thamsyn Newton will bat next followed by Wicket Keeper Jessica. Leigh Kasperek is also handy with bat , she scored 28 in last game.

– Emily Cunningham and Hannah Rowe will be important in the middle. Emily scored 58 in an ODD game earlier this month. Both were out cheaply in their last game.
– Mikaela Greig, Georgia Atkinson and Kerry Tomlinson will handle the lower middle order. Both Mikaela and Atkinson are handy with ball as well.
– Jess Watkin, Ocean Bartlett, Ashtuti Kumar and Georgia Atkinson will lead the spin attack. Atkinson didn’t bowled in last game.
