Team News –
WI W –
– West Indies looked poor with the ball in the rain affected 1st game where their top bowlers Selman and Connell went with an economy over 9. The first game was washed out due to rain.
– West Indies will be without their Star Allrounder Stephanie Taylor and now it seems like Deandra Dottin will also be ruled out as she was holding her hamstring during Batting and was retired hurt.
– Hayley Mathews and Deandra Dottin(if plays) will be the openers of team. Both are big hitters and have capability to win the match by their own. Both were in good form in the Hundred.
– Team has a very weak middle order with likes of Kycia Knight who will keep the Wickets. Kyshona has looked good in last series but strike rate is an issue. Chedean Nation can play some attacking strokes but is very inconsistent.
– Anisa Mohammad and Hayley Mathews and will be the spin option for the team. Both will be very important as they don’t have any other part time option as well.
– Shakera Selman, S Connell and Aliya Alleyne will lead the pace attack. Dottin bowled good amount of overs in the Hundred but didn’t bowled in 1st game.
SA W –

– Laura Wolvaardt and Mignon Du Plessis will hold the middle order with Luss and Tazmin Britts to follow. South Africa have a very strong middle order as compared to their opposition.
