THU –
– Sydney Thunders after loosing the 1st game won a triller last game where they were 80-5 at the halfway mark and then chased down 180 with 1 over to spare thanks to triller innings of 65* of just 28 balls by Daniel Sams.

– New Zealand’s pace spearhead Adam Milne have been added to the squad and is set to play this game.

– Usman Khawaja and Alex Hales both will open the innings. Both of them form a very strong opening pair. Hales was 2nd highest scorer last season. Both were out cheaply last game.

– Calumn Ferguson will bat 1 down. Ferguson has a lot of experience of BBL and is one among the top 5 scorers in BBL history. He scored 54 in 1st game.

– Alex Ross will bat at 2 down followed by Holt at 3 who will also keep the Wickets. Ross is a very good striker of the ball and is very good in 2nd Innings.

– Ben Cutting and Daniel Sams will do the late hitting for the thunders. Both can be promoted.

– Chris Green , Tanveer Sangha and Jono Cook will be handling the spin attack. Green mostly bowl 1-2 overs in powerplay.

SCO –
– The Scorchers scored 158 in a rain affected last game but unfortunately it was resulted in a no result. Team can go unchanged this game.

– Colin Munro and Josh Inglis will open the innings. Munro is one of the most attacking batsman in t20s but is very inconsistent. Inglis had a very good season opening with Livingston last season. Munro scored 49 last game.

– Joe Clarke and Aston Turner will bat at 1 and 2 down. Clarke is a English Batsman with a SR of 149 in t20s , Turner is also very important in that middle order with his SR of 134.

– Mitchell Marsh will be batting next. He is a ace Allrounder but his bowling is still under doubt.

– Cameron Bancroft will bat next. Bancroft is a important aspect of team with his experience and stroke making but batted very low the other game.

– Fawad Ahmed the leggie will lead the spin attack. Turner can assist him.
