Team News –
OVI-W –
– The Oval Invincibles have 3 overseas signings in form of Dane van Niekerk, Marizanne Kapp and Shabnim Ismail.

– Rachel Haynes who was signed by the Oval Invincibles team has withdrawn herself from the tournament but it did boosted their bowling with the addition of Ismail.

– Team will likely open with Sarah Bryce and Gerogia Adams. Adams is a good attacking player who has ability to play big innings with over 1500 runs. Bryce will be keeping the Wickets.

– Dane van Niekerk will bat at 1 down. Niekerk is among the top all-rounders in world Cricket with over 60 Wickets on her name.

– Fran Wilson and Marizanne Kapp will bat in middle with young Alice Capsey to follow. Wilson and Kapp have very good International experience and can carry the team.

– Alice Capsey is one of the young guns to watch out for both with bat as well as with her medium pace.

– They will look at Marizanne Kapp as their finisher as they don’t have any renowned one other than her.

– Mady Villiers and Dane van Niekerk will be the spin options. Maddy with off spin and Niekerk with her LegBreak. D Gregory can also bowl her Legspin if plays.

– Shabnim Ismail , Marizanne Kapp and Alice Capsey will handle the pace attack.

MNR-W –
– The Manchester Originals have some pretty solid squad to choose from with the international players like Harmanpreet Kaur, Lizelle Lee and Mignon du Preez along with their International team players Sophie Ecclestone and Kate Cross.

– South African Opener Lizelle Lee and Emma Lamb will open the innings. Both are extremely aggressive openers especially Lee. Lamb recently scored a century in the Charlotte Edwards cup.

– Gerogia Boyce will bat at 1 down and Harmanpreet at 4. Harmanpreet the Indian T20 captain is not in a great form but her experience and hitting ability can’t be ignored.

– Mignon Du Preez will bat in middle with Nat Brown and Cordelia Griffith to follow. Except du Preez there are no other quality options with the team in middle.

– Sophie Ecclestone and Alex Hartley will handle the spin section with Harman Kaur to assist them.

– Kate Cross and Emma Lamb will be the lead pacers in the team.
