Team News –
SIX –
– The defending champions are placed 3rd in the table with 4 wins and 2 losses with 17 points on the board.

– Teams bowling has been more boosted by the arrival of Jackson Bird and English bowler Jake Ball, However bird didn’t make into the final XI.

– Josh Philippe and Jack Edwards will open for Sixers. Phillipe was the third-leading run-getter in BBL last season with 487 runs and scored 48 last game.

– James Vince will bat 1 down. Vince is a quality Batsman who is very consistent but haven’t looked good this season with just 1 50+ score.

– Daniel Hughes and Jordan Silk will bat at 2 and 3 down respectively. Both have played over 50 games for the franchise and are very experienced. Hughes smashed his career best 96 runs in just 51 balls last 3rd game.

– Daniel Christian and Carlos Brathwaith will handle the allround duties. Brathwaith took 10 Wickets in the CPL2020 but was out of form with the bat and is not getting much batting here either.

– Steve O Keefe will lead the spin attack. O Keefe took 2 Wickets last 2nd game .

– Ben Dwarshius, Dan Christian, Jackson Bird and Carlos Brathwaith will be the pace attack for Sixers with Dwarshius and Christian are bowling in the death.

STR –
– Jake Weatherald and Philip Salt will open the innings. Weatherald scored a brilliant match winning 68 in 2nd game but failed in other 4 while Salt has always been a hit miss candidate.

– Matt Renshaw will bat 1 down. Renshaw had a very good season for the Heat last year but was still traded for the Strikers. He haven’t made a big impact as of now but is a very good player.

– Captain Alex Carey will bat 2 down. Carey will also keep the Wickets. He scored a brilliant 82 last game against the Scorchers.

– Jono Wells will bat next at 3 down. Wells was among the top 5 scorers last season and will be an important pick in case of top order failure.

– Rashid Khan and Danny Briggs will lead the spin department. Briggs is highest Wicket taker in English domestic Cricket and picked 3 Wickets last 2nd game.

– Wes Agar, Peter Siddle and Daniel Worrall will be leading the pace attack for Adelaide. Worrall is known for his swing and is the 2nd Highest Wicket taker of team.
