– The sixers had a poor last season where they finished 5th in the points table . It was their 1st instance that they didn’t played in the semis.
 
– Ellyse Perry is back after missing the series against New Zealand. She will lead the side.
 
– Ellyse Perry and Alyssa Healy will open the Innings. They both form a deadly opening combo with Perry also contributing with ball.
 
– Ashleigh Gardner will bat 1 down. Gardner is a very hard hitting Batsman who can change to game within few balls. She will also bowl some off spin.
 
– Erin Burns and Dane van Niekerk will handle the middle order. Burns has been excellent last season with both bat and bowl same as Niekerk who scored 125 runs and took 9 Wickets last season.
 
– Marizanne Kapp will do the late hitting and can also be promoted if needed.
 
– Dane van Niekerk, Ashleigh Gardner and Erin Burns will be doing the spin Duties.
 
– Sarah Aley , Lisa Griffith and Ellyse Perry will lead the pace attack.
 
STW –
– The Thunders also had a poor last season finishing the season at no 6 in the table.
 
– They have got some good buys this year with likes of Heather Knight and Tammy Beaumont.
 
– Tammy Beaumont and Rachel Haynes will open the Innings. Haynes is a regular 50 overs opener for Australia while Tammy for England. Both are very experienced. Beaumont scored 25 in warmup game.
 
– Captain Heather Knight will bat 1 down. Knight is among the best Allrounders in world Cricket and has over 1300 wbbl runs.
 
– P Litchfield and Sammy Jo Johnson will handle the middle order. Litchfield ahowed good intent last season where she scored 187 runs.
 
– Hannah Darlington can also bat and play big shots.
 
– S Bates and lauren Smith will handle the spin attack.
 
– Darlington, Kate Peterson and S Ismail will lead the pace attack.
