– Tamil Nadu are all set to lock horns with Hyderabad in the first semi-final of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
– Tamil Nadu won 4 out of 5 games in the group stage and won against Kerala by 5 Wickets in the 1st quarter final.
– Sandeep Warrior suffered a blow while bowling in last game and didn’t complete his over. He can be replaced by any 1 of R Vivek/T Natarajan.
– Classic pair of Hari Nishant and N Jagadeeshan will open the innings. Both have scored 162 runs this SMAT but SR has been quite low.
– Sai Sudarshan will bat at 1 down. He is power hitter , scored 46 in the quarter final.
– Middle order will be handled by Vijay Shankar, Sanjay Yadav and Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh can ne promoted due to his hitting ability.

– Hyderabad have been in a great form in the competition so far, and they reached the knockouts winning all 5 games in the group stage. In the quarter-finals, they registered an easy win over Gujarat by 30 runs.
– Tilak Verma and Tanmay Agrawal are top scorers for Hyderabad this season.
– P Reddy and Tanmay Agrawal will opem the innings. Reddy will keep the Wickets.
– Tilak Verma will bat ag 1 down. He is young talent and has been scoring good this SMAT. He scored 75 in the quarter final.
– The middle order will be handled by H Agrawal, Bavanaka Sandeep and Rahul Buddhi. Rahul is not a big hitter but is consistently scoring runs.
– Mehdi Hasan and Tanay Thyagarajan will be handling the spin section.
