– Sixers the defending champions after loosing the 1st game won their last game by a massive 145 runs margin by cleaning up the opposition on just 60.
– Josh Philippe and Jack Edwards will open for Sixers. Phillipe was the third-leading run-getter in BBL last season with 487 runs and started the season with a bang scoring 95 runs last game.
– James Vince will bat 1 down. Vince is a quality Batsman who is very consistent. Vince scored 67 in 1st game.
– Daniel Hughes and Jordan Silk will bat at 2 and 3 down respectively. Both have played over 50 games for the franchise and are very experienced. Silk smashed 19 ball 45 last game.
– Daniel Christian, Jason Holder and Carlos Brathwaith will handle the allround duties. Brathwaith took 10 Wickets in the CPL2020 but was out of form with the bat. Brathwaith took 2 Wickets last game.
– Steve O Keefe and Ben Manenti will lead the spin attack. Steve is quite experienced and took 3 Wickets last game.
– Ben Dwarshius, Jason Holder, Dan Christian and Carlos Brathwaith will be the pace attack for Sixers with Dwarshius and Christian bowling in the death.

– Adelaide Strikers won their last game by 5 Wickets against Hobart Hurricanes. Peter Siddle picked a brilliant 5-fer along with 50s from Alex Carey and Jake Weatherald.
– Jake Weatherald and Philip Salt will open the innings. Weatherald scored a brilliant match winning 68 last game. Salt had a good BBL last season where he scored 350+ runs but is very inconsistent.
– Matt Renshaw will bat 1 down. Renshaw had a very good season for the Heat last year but was still traded for the Strikers. He scored 33 and also bowled 2 overs in 1st game.
– Alex Carey will bat at 2 down. Carey is one of the best players in BBL history with over 1100 runs and will also keep the Wickets. He scored match winning 50 last game.
– Jono Wells will bat next at 3 down. Wells was among the top 5 scorers last season and will be an important pick in case of top order failure.
– Rashid Khan and Danny Briggs will lead the spin department. Briggs is highest Wicket taker in English domestic Cricket.
– Wes Agar, Peter Siddle and Daniel Worrall will be leading the pace attack for Adelaide. Worrall is known for his swing at the start.
