– Sixers the defending champions after loosing the 1st game won back to back games and are placed at no 4 in points table.
– Josh Philippe and Jack Edwards will open for Sixers. Phillipe was the third-leading run-getter in BBL last season with 487 runs and started the season with a bang scoring 95 runs last 2nd game.
– James Vince will bat 1 down. Vince is a quality Batsman who is very consistent. Vince scored 67 in 1st game and has been scoring in 20s last few games.
– Daniel Hughes and Jordan Silk will bat at 2 and 3 down respectively. Both have played over 50 games for the franchise and are very experienced. Silk smashed 19 ball 45 last 2nd game.
– Daniel Christian, Jason Holder and Carlos Brathwaith will handle the allround duties. Brathwaith took 10 Wickets in the CPL2020 but was out of form with the bat. Brathwaith took 2 Wickets last game.
– Steve O Keefe and Ben Manenti will lead the spin attack. Both of them shared 2 Wickets each last game.
– Ben Dwarshius, Jason Holder, Dan Christian and Carlos Brathwaith will be the pace attack for Sixers with Dwarshius and Christian bowling in the death.

– The Stars have given much needed rest to Marcus Stoinis and Nick Maddinson for this game, While Adam Zampa is back and Afghan Spinner Zahir Khan has also finished his quarantine and will play his 1st game against Sixers.
– Andre Fletcher will open the innings for the stars along with any 1 of Dunk or Cartwright. Cartwright has been brilliant so far contributing with both bat and bowl. Dunk will be a excellent choice if team prefers him to open.
– Glenn Maxwell will bat at 2 down followed by Hard hitting Nicolas Pooran. Maxwell is in some form after a desastrous IPL season. Maxwell is also bowling good number of overs. Pooran can be promoted as he was in last rain affected encounter.
– Nick Larkin or Seb Gotch can play next. Larkin had a brilliant last year with 2 50+ scores in 4 games but haven’t got much chance to play this season.
– Adam Zampa and Zahir Khan will lead the spin attack for the Stars.
– Nathan Coulter Nile, Billy Stanlake and Liam Hatcher will handle the pace attack. Coulter Nile took 4 Wickets in 1st game.
