Team News –
SCO –
– The Scorchers won 2 back to back games and the last one was with a massive 96 runs margin. They will likely go unchanged this game.
– Jason Roy and Liam Livingston will open the innings. Roy is a very attacking batsman but is inconsistent and going through a bad patch. He will bat along with hard hitting Livingston who had an excellent bbl2019 but is not having a good run here.
– Wicket keeper Josh Inglis will bat at 1 down. Inglis bats with a excellent strike rate of 150+ and scored 72 last game. He will also keep the Wickets.
– Colin Munro will bat at 2 down. He is one of the most attacking batsman in t20s but is very inconsistent. His Batting order is shifting in every game and scored 52 last game.
– Mitchell Marsh and Ashton Turner will be batting next. He is a ace Allrounder and is also bowling from last few games. Turner is also very important in that middle order with his SR of 134.
– Fawad Ahmed the leggie will lead the spin attack. Liam Livingston and Ashton Turner can assist him.
– Jhye Richardson, Andrew Tye and Jason Behrendorff will be the pace attack of team.
SIX –
– The defending champions are placed top of the table with 5 wins and 2 losses and 21 points on the board. They will also go unchanged this game.
– Josh Philippe and Jack Edwards will open for Sixers. Phillipe was the third-leading run-getter in BBL last season with 487 runs and is also 2nd highest scorer this season too. Edwards is a hit miss candidate.
– James Vince will bat 1 down. Vince is a quality Batsman was out of form this season finally scored 45 last game.
– Daniel Hughes and Jordan Silk will bat at 2 and 3 down respectively. Both have played over 50 games for the franchise and are very experienced. Silk has been batting brilliant in every game he gets to bat. He scored 28 ball 38 last game.
– Daniel Christian and Carlos Brathwaith will handle the allround duties. Brathwaith took 10 Wickets in the CPL2020 but was out of form with the bat and is not getting much batting here either.
– Steve O Keefe/Lyod Pope and Ben Maneti will lead the spin attack. Pope was wicketless but bowled very economically.
– Ben Dwarshius, Dan Christian, Jake Ball and Carlos Brathwaith will be the pace attack for Sixers with Dwarshius and Christian are bowling in the death.
