– Morne van Wyk will open the innings along with Loots Bosman. Both are very attacking type batsman with SR over 140. van Wyk will also keep the Wickets.
– Alviro Peterson will follow the openers. He haven’t played much International Cricket but have scored 500 odd runs in 19 odi played.
– Zander de Bruyn and Jonty Rhodes will bat in middle followed by Allrounder Kemp. Zander has over 14000 list A runs on his name along with 286 Wickets. Kemp can be promoted due to his hitting abilities.
– Alviro Peterson and Tshabalala can handle the spin section.
– M Ntini, Justin Kemp, Roger Telemachus and Garnett Kruger will lead the pace attack of team.
SL-L –
– Srilankan legend team is in good touch winning 2 of the 3 games played this tournament. They won against Windies Legends last game by 5 Wickets.
– Sanath Jayasuriya and Dilshan will be opening the innings. Both are legends of Srilanka Cricket and will contribute through both bat and bowl. Dilshan scored 47 amd also took a Wicket.
– Upul Taharanga will bat at 1 down. Tharanga could be the highest scorer for the team due to his good form in Lanka Premier League. He will also keep the Wickets.
– Chamara Silva and Mahroof will handle the middle order. Mahroof can be promoted due to his hitting abilities.
– Rangana Herath will contribute in spin department. Dilshan and Jayasuriya will assist them. Mendis didn’t bowled in all 3 games he played.
– Nuwan Kulasekara, Dhammika Prasad and Farveez Mahroof will lead the pace attack.
