Team News –
RR –
– Royals have won just 1 game now from their 4 games and this game is a very important game for them considering their position in the points table.
– Team played Shreyas Gopal last game considering his excellent record against RCB but he was smashed by the 2 RCB openers. Team will go back to Unadkat again this game. Also, Andrew Tye has high chances of playing this game.
– Teams likely 4 foreign players will be Jos Buttler, Chris Morris, Mustafizur Rahman/Andrew Tye and Dawid Miller.
– Manan Vohra/Anuj Rawat/Y Jaiswal and Jos Buttler will most likely open the innings. Buttler . Anuj Rawat and Yashasvi Jaiswal are young Indian Talented openers and any 1 of the 2 can get a game after too many failures of Manan Vohra.
– Captain Sanju Samson will bat at 1 down. Sanju looked good at the initial stages of the season but is very inconsistent. He scored a brilliant ton in 1st game but was out cheaply on 4, 2 and 21 in last 3 games.
– Dawid Miller and Riyan Parag will bat in middle. Miller was excellent in game against Delhi scoring 63 but failed in next 3 games.
– Chris Morris, Rahul Tewatia and Shivam Dube will form a solid middle order and contribute through both bat and bowl. Dube was striking the ball really good last game against RCB scoring 46 runs.
– Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag will handle the spin department. Shreyas Gopal played last game but don’t think will make into the XI this game.
– Chris Morris, Chetan Sakariya/Kartik Tyagi, Jaydev Unadkat and Mustafizur Rahman/Andrew Tye will form the pace attack of Rajasthan.
KKR –
– KKR lost a thriller against CSK last game where they almost chased down 220 thanks to heroics of Oat Cummins who Smashed 66 of 34 balls but felt Short from a win.
– Team will make some changes in their Bowling section especially by bringing in Lochie Ferguson who can help them with his extreme pace.
– Team’s likely foreign players will be Eoin Morgan, Andre Russell, Pat Cummins and Lochie Ferguson/Sunil Narine.
– Shubham Gill and Nitish Rana will open the Innings. Both are youngster and will be important for team’s success this year especially Gill after his heroics in Australia. Both have been very inconsistent so far.
– Young Tripathi will bat at 1 down. He is a aggressive player and was brilliant in 1st game where he scored 59 runs but ks very inconsistent.
– Captain Morgan will bat at 2 down followed by Dinesh Karthik. Morgan has been in terrible form and haven’t crossed even 30 in the 4 games played while DK after a couple of failures scored a brilliant 40 last game.
– Andre Russell will bat next and play the role of finisher. He smashed 54 of just 22 balls with 6 massive hits. Russell will also bowl in death.
– Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine/Harbhajan Singh will handle the spin section.
– Pat Cummins, Prasidh Krishna, Lochie Ferguson (high) and Andre Russell will lead the pace attack.
