– Peshawar has always been a successful franchise in the PSL with 3 finals and 1 Trophy. They ended up onnthe loosing side in the 1st game, their pace attack looked good but it was their Batting which let them dowm.
– Kamran Akmal and Imam Ul Haq will open the innings. Kamran has always been a successful t20 batsman. He scored around 300 runs last season. Imam was in terrific form in National T20 but was out on 1 ball in last game.
– Young Haider Ali will bat 1 down followed by experienced Shoaib Malik at 4. Malik can also contribute through ball. Malik scored 26 while Haider was out cheaply on 0.
– Ravi Bopara and Amad Butt will contribute through both bat and bowl. Bopara looked in good touch with the bat in the Abu Dhabi T10 but haven’t bowled. He scored a 44 ball 50 last game.
– Mujeeb will be the spin option assisted by Shoaib Malik. Mujeeb recently took a 5 Wicket haul in the BBL.
– Wahab Riaz, Saqib Mahmood, Mohammad Imran/Umaid Asif and Amad Butt will lead the pace attack.
MUL –
– Multan Sultans have been the weakest team in the PSL history with an average Run rate of 7.9. They didn’t played a good team as their star bowlers like Imran Tahir and Usman Qadir were benched. Any 1 of them should play this game.
– Chris Lynn and Mohammad Rizwan will open the Innings. Both of them are in red hot form Lynn from BBL and Rizwan from the series against South Africa being the highest scorer. Rizwan scored 71 while Lynn was out in the 1st over itself.
– James Vince will bat at 1 down. Vince is another in form candidate who single handedly won the Sixers BBL with his 2 innings of 98* and 95. He scored 17 last game.
– Rilee Russouw and Khushdil Shah will bat in middle. Roussouw scored 14 ball 25 last game. Khushdil was out cheaply but took 1 Wicket with the ball.
– Veteran Shahid Afridi and Carlos Brathwaith will do the allround duties. Carlos took 2 Wickets last game.
– Shahid Afridi and Usman Qadir(high chances of playing) will lead the spin attack. Both of them are leg spinners.
– Sohail Khan/Sohaibullah, Sohail Tanvir and Carlos Brathwaith will be leading the pace department.
