Team News –
NZ –
– The No 6 ranked T20 team had an excellent start to the series winning the 1st 2 games of the 5 match series. The Kiwis will not look to alter the winning combination and will go unchanged.
– Martin Guptill and Tim Siefert will open for New Zealand. Siefert has been in superb form from last 6 months and will look to continue the same. Guptill finally came out from his bad patch scoring 97 innthe 2nd T20.
– Consistent Kane will bat at 1 down. Kane is no doubt one of the best white ball Batsman and scored a 34 ball 50 last game.
– Devon Conway and Glenn Phillips will bat in middle. Conway has emerged as a attacking middle order option for NZ from the windies series. He batted very low last game after a 99* in 1st game.
– Jimmy Neesham, Mitchell Santner and Kyle Jamieson will bat next. All three will be crusial with both bat and bowl.
– Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi will be the spin options for New Zealand. Santner took 4 Wickets last game.
– Trent Boult, Tim Southee, Kyle Jamieson and Jimmy Neesham will handle the pace attack.
AUS –
– Australia are on the back foot loosing the 1st 2 games of the 5 match series, loosing this game will be a series loss for the visitors, however their confidence will be boosted by the type of Batting from Stoinis and Young Daniel Sams last game.
– Team can Strengthen their Batting by adding Ashton Turner for Agar as he has not contributed much with the ball in both the games.
– Aaron Finch and Matthew Wade will open for Australia. Finch is going through a very bad patch 1st in the IPL then in the BBL and noelw this series, while his partner Wade looked good for his 24 last game.
– Josh Phillipe will bat at 1 down. Phillipe is going through a golden patch scoring 512 runs this BBL season and also scored 45 last game.
– Glenn Maxwell will bat at 2 down followed by Marcus Stoinis. Maxwell is not someone to introduce. He can really change gears in no time. Stoinis smashed 78 of 37 balls last game but was unable to take his team through the line.
– Mitchell Marsh and Daniel Sams will bat next followed by Ashton Agar. Sams smashed brilliant 48 of just 15 balls last game.
– Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar will lead the spin section and will be assisted by Glenn Maxwell.
– Jhye Richardson, Kane Richardson and Daniel Sams will lead the pace attack. Mitchell Marsh amd Marcus Stoinis can assist them with 1/2 overs.
