– The No 6 ranked T20 team will start their 5 match series against Australia. New Zealand have gone with a full strength T20 squad for this series led by Kane Williamson.
– Martin Guptill will undergo a fitness tesy before the game. Super Smash highest scorer Finn Allen have been added as his backup.
– Martin Guptill/Finn Allen and Tim Siefert will open for New Zealand. Siefert has been in superb form from last 6 months and will look to continue the same.
– Consistent Kane will bat at 1 down. Kane is no doubt one of the best white ball Batsman but has struggled against Australia with Average of just 10 in 4 innings.
– Devon Conway and Glenn Phillips will bat in middle. Conway has emerged as a attacking middle order option for NZ from the windies series. He was 2nd highest scorer in the Super Smash league 2021.
– Jimmy Neesham, Mitchell Santner and Kyle Jamieson will bat next. All three will be crusial with both bat and bowl.
– Santner and Ish Sodhi will be the spin options for New Zealand.
– Trent Boult, Tim Southee, Kyle Jamieson and Jimmy Neesham will handle the pace attack.

– Australia will be without a handful of their big names, including the likes of Mitch Starc, David Warner, Pat Cummins and Steve Smith this T20 series.
– They have added BBL superstar Josh Philippe this series who has the highest aggregate from last 2 seasons. Australia have also added IPL auction Stars Jhye Richardson and Riley Meredith in their 18 member squad.
– Aaron Finch and Josh Philippe will open for Australia. Finch is going through a very bad patch 1st in the IPL and now in the BBL while his partner Phillipe is going through a golden patch scoring 512 runs this season.
– Matthew Wade will likely bat 1 down. Wade opened against India and scored 2 50+ scores.
– Glenn Maxwell will bat at 2 down followed by Marcus Stoinis. Maxwell is not someone to introduce. He can really change gears in no time. Stoinis will most likely not bowl.
– Mitchell Marsh/Ashton Turner will bat next followed by Ashton Agar. Ben McDermott can also get a game looking towards his recent BBL form.
– Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar will lead the spin section and will be assisted by Glenn Maxwell.
– Jhye Richardson, Kane Richardson and Andrew Tye will lead the pace attack. Mitchell Marsh can assist them with 1/2 overs.
