– Northern the defending champions started their National T20 2020 with a blast winning the encounter by maasive 79 runs with Zeeshan Malik and Haider Ali scoring respective 50s and Musa khan with a 3-fer.
– Imad Wasim is unavailable till 8th Oct due to T20 blast schedule. Shadab Khan will lead the team in his absence.
– Ali Imran amd Zeeshan Malik will open the innings for Northern. Ali Imran started good but was out on 21 last game but Zeeshan went on to score 72 runs.
– Young Haider Ali will bat 1 down. He is the best find for Pakistan cricket recently who has the ability to strike the ball above 150. He scored attacking 92 runs last game with 5 massive sixes.
– Asif Ali will bat at 2 down and handle the middle order. He is a clean striker of the ball and had a strike rate of 199 last season. He scored attacking 23 last game.
– Umar Amin and Rohail Nazir will bat next. Umar amin was the 2nd highest scorer in 2019 National T20 cup. Rohail is a technically sound batsman but doesn’t have that power game with him.
– Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz and Sohail Tanvir will take care of Allround duties. Shadab can promote himself at 2 down any day.
– Shadab, Mohammad Nawaz will lead the spin attack. Nawaz took 2 Wickets in the powerplay itself. Spinners are must on these grounds.
– Sohail Tanvir, Haris Rauf and Musa Khan will lead the pace attack. Musa Khan took 3 while Tanvir took 2 Wickets last game.

– Southern Punjab lost their last game against Central Punjab even after scoring 200 which shows weakness of their bowling attack.
– They can make a change and bring Ali Shafiq for Any 1 of Umer Khan and Zahid Mehmood.
– Experienced Shan Masood and Young Zeeshan Ashraf will open the Innings. Masood has the ability to build the innings and play big. Masood scored 50 last game while Ashraf was out early looking to score quick.
– Shoiab Maqsood will bat 1 down. He attacks from word go and is highest scorer for Southern Punjab. He scored 51 of just 26 balls last game.
– Hussain Talat and Khushdil Shah will handle the middle order. Both are extremely aggresive batters and can score really quick. Talat can also bowl.
-Saif Badar and Aamer Yamin will bat next. Badar is a top order Batsman but batted very low the other game. Aamer Yamin can be promoted due to his hitting ability.
– Zahid Mehmood and Umer Khan will be leading the spin section. Both were wicketless and quite expensive last game.
– Mohammad Irfan and Aamer Yamin will lead the pace attack. Ali Shafiq can play today .
