– Northern are the champions of 2019 season where they lost just 1 game from 5 League games. 

 

– They have a very star studded squad this season led by Star Allrounder Imad wasim.

 

– Experienced Umar Amin and any 1 of  Ali Imran/Zeeshan Malik will likely open the innings for Northern. Umar amin was the 2nd highest scorer in 2019 National T20 cup. Ali Imran had a decent form last season.

 

– Young Haider Ali will bat 1 down. He is the best find for Pakistan cricket recently who has the ability to strike the ball above 150.

 

– Asif Ali will bat at 2 down and handle the middle order. He is a clean striker of the ball and had a strike rate of 199 last season.

 

– Sohail Akhtar and Rohail Nazir will bat next. Akhtar is a big hitter of the ball and generally bats in top 3. Rohail is a technically sound batsman and doesn’t have that power game with him but can play big.

 

– Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz and Sohail Tanvir will take care of Allround duties. Shadab can promote himself at 2 down any day.

 

– Shadab, Mohammad Nawaz will lead rhe spin attack. Spinners are must on these grounds.

 

– Sohail Tanvir, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Amir will lead the pace attack. Hammad Azam will assist them.

 

– They have named a very strong squad for this season with the likes of Hafeez , Malik, Wahab and Fakhar Zaman.

 

– Fakhar Zaman and Sahibzada Farhan will open the Innings as they always do. Fakhar is a known player but is out of form. Farhan had scored a lot of runs in domestic circuit.

 

– The Professor Hafeez will bat 1 down. The veteran is still in terrific touch as scored 2 back to back 50s against England recently.

 

– Shoaib Malik will bat 2 down followed by Pakhtuns highest scorer Wicket keeper Mohammad Rizwan.

 

– Big Hitting Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Mohsin will do the late hitting. Both can bat as well as bowl.

 

– Zohaib Khan the experienced allrounder will also do contribution with both bat and bowl.

 

– Zohaib Khan, Mohammad Mohsin will lead the spin attack and will be assisted by Hafeez , Malik amd Iftikhar Ahmed.

 

– Shaheen Afridi, Wahab Riaz and Junaid Khan will lead the pace attack.
