Team News –
SRH –
– SRH lost another game against Rajasthan Royals and now need to win atleast 6 of their 7 games to be in line of the playoffs which is very much impossible.
– Team’s likely 4 foreign players will be Jonny Bairstow, Rashid Khan, Kane Williamson and M Nabi/Jason Holder.
– Jonny Bairstow and Manish Pandey will open the innings. Bairstow as always scores with a good SR. Pandey opened with him last game and the move payed off with both scoring at a good rate.
– Kane Williamson will bat at 1 down. Kane is a world class Batsman and is a player to rely on.
– Kedar Jadhav/W Saha and Vijay Shankar will handle the middle order. They have depth in Batting but are very unreliable. W Saha if plays will open the batting.
– Rashid Khan and J Suchith/M Nabi will lead the spin section. Rashid bowled 2 overs in the powerplay last game.
– Khaleel Ahmed/Siddhart Kaul/Sandeep Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jason Holder will lead the pace attack. Vijay Shankar will assist them with his medium pace.
MI –
– Mumbai Indians won their last game against CSK which was one of the best matches of the IPL ever where Mi chased down massive 219 runs with Pollard being Not out on 87 of 34 balls.
– Quinton de Kock, Kieron Pollard, Trent Boult and Jimmy Neesham will be team’s foreign players.
– Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock will open the game. De Kock after a poor start in the tournament finally scored back to back good knocks of 70 and 38 , Rohit was out on 35 last game.
– Surya Kumar Yadav will bat at 1 down. Surya has been excellent form last 2-3 years scoring consistently 400+ in every season. He is scoring runs in 20s-30s but unable to convert it into a big score. Krunal will bat at 2 down, he scored 32 of 21 balls last game.
– Hardik Pandya will bat next followed by Big Kieron Pollard. Hardik is not contributing with the bowl and also is having a shaky form in batting. Pollard played one of the best knocks by him so far last game against CSK.
– Rahul Chahar and Krunal Pandya will lead the spin attack. Chahar has been excellent in this tournament being the highest Wicket taker for the team.
– Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, Jimmy Neesham and Dhawal Kulkarni/Arjun Tendulkar will lead the pace bowling. Pollard will assist them.
