– The Hurricanes won a thriller of a contest last game against the Heat by just 1 runs. They had some luck in their favour as the decision was somewhat controversial.
– Team has added Nepali Mystery Spinner Sandeep Lammichhane to the squad after he finished his 14 day quarantine and will directly be drafted into the XI.
– D’Arcy Short and Ben McDermott will open for the hurricanes. Short has the highest impact rate when it comes to the BBL and contributes through both bat and bowl.
– McDermott has been one of the key players of the team this season and scored 155 runs in 4 games.
– David Malan will bat 1 down. Malan is world’s best t20 batsman currently and has scored highest runs this year. He scored 39 in last game.
– Pater Handscomb will bat at 2 down. Handscomb will be a important part of the Hobart middle order but haven’t performed according to his standards yet. He will also keep the Wickets.
– Experienced Colin Ingram will bat at 3 down. Ingram provides a lot of Balance to the team and is 2nd highest scorer this season.
– Tim David will bat in middle order. David has been exceptional this BBL with a strike rate of 170+. He has been very consistent this season.
– Sandeep Lammichhane, D’Arcy Short and Any 1 of Will Parker and Johan Botha will lead the pace attack for the hurricanes.
– Riley Meredith, Nathan Ellis, Scott Boland will be the 3 men pace attack of hurricanes. Meredith took 3 Wickets with his extreme pace last game.

– The Stars after loosing Nathan Coulter Nile due to a calf injury in game against Sixers now had got another shock in form of Adam Zampa who has been suspended for a game due to Audible obscenity.
– Andre Fletcher will open the innings for the stars along with Marcus Stoinis. Stoinis was back last game and scored 27, He has good chances of bowling this game.
– Hilton Cartwright will bat at 1 down. Cartwright has been brilliant so far contributing with both bat and bowl but haven’t converted his scores into a big one.
– Glenn Maxwell will bat at 2 down followed by Hard hitting Nicolas Pooran. Maxwell is in some form after a desastrous IPL season. Maxwell is also bowling good number of overs. Both smashed a total of 13 sixers last 2nd game against the Sixers while failed last game.
– Nic Maddinson and Nick Larkin can play next. Larkin had a brilliant last year with 2 50+ scores in 4 games but haven’t got much chance to play this season. Maddinson is bowling good amount of overs.
– Tom O Connell/Chint Hinchcliffe and Zahir Khan will lead the spin attack for the Stars.
