Team News –
HEA –
– Brisbane Heat lost their last game even after scoring a big score of 178. Wildermuth was at his best with both bat and bowl scoring 31 runs and 3 Wickets with bowl.

– Sam Heazlett and Max Bryant will open the innings. Both were looking good in their short span at the Crease last game with Bryant scoring 29 and Heazlett 20.

– Chris Lynn will bat at 1 down. Lynn is not someone to introduce especially at the shorter format. He scored 69 last game.

– Dan Lawrence will handle the middle order. Lawrence will contribute through both bat and off spin bowl.

– Tom Cooper who played for the Renegades last season will bat at 3 down for the Heat. He has a lot of experience with him. Jack Wildermuth will follow cooper who is known for his big hitting.

– Jimmy Peirson will bat next and will keep the Wickets. Pierson has scored more than 800 runs for the heat.
– Matthew Kuhnemann, Mujeeb Rahman and Dan Lawrence will be the spinners for Heat.

– Ben Laughlin, Mark Stekette and Jack Wildermuth will handle the pace attack.

STR –
– Adelaide Strikers will be without the services of Alex Carey this game due to border restrictions in Australia.
– Jake Weatherald and Philip Salt will open the innings. Weatherald scored a brilliant match winning 68 last 2nd game. Both started in attacking fashion with scores of 28 and 27 last game.

– Matt Renshaw will bat 1 down. Renshaw had a very good season for the Heat last year but was still traded for the Strikers. He haven’t made a big impact as of now but is a very good player.

– Jono Wells will bat next at 2 down. Wells was among the top 5 scorers last season and will be an important pick in case of top order failure. Harry Nielsen will follow him amd keep the Wickets.

– Rashid Khan and Danny Briggs will lead the spin department. Briggs is highest Wicket taker in English domestic Cricket.

– Wes Agar, Peter Siddle and Daniel Worrall will be leading the pace attack for Adelaide. Worrall is known for his swing and is bowling his full quota in the start itself.
