– Brisbane Heat lost their last game even after a superb knock of 69 of just 36 balls by Jimmy Peirson.
– Team will be without Chris Lynn who is suffering a big injury while Ben Laughlin has been rested until 2nd Jan. Lewis Gregory can make his debut for Brisbane Today.
– Sam Heazlett and Max Bryant will open the innings. Both were looking good in their short span at the Crease last 2nd game with Bryant scoring 29 and Heazlett 20 but failed again last game.
– Simon Milenko will bat at 1 down in absence of Chris Lynn. Milenko is known for his hitting ability as well as can have some medium pace bowling.
– Dan Lawrence will handle the middle order. Lawrence will contribute through both bat and off spin bowl.
– Tom Cooper who played for the Renegades last season will bat at 3 down for the Heat. He has a lot of experience with him. Jack Wildermuth will follow cooper who is known for his big hitting.
– Jimmy Peirson will bat next and will keep the Wickets. Pierson scored a brilliant 69 of just 36 balls but was unable to secure a win for his team.
– Matthew Kuhnemann, Mujeeb Rahman and Dan Lawrence will be the spinners for Heat.
– Xavier Bartlett, Mark Stekette and Jack Wildermuth will handle the pace attack. Lewis Gregory if plays will join them.

– The Hurricanes have added David Malan world’s best T20 batsman in the squad and will open the innings.
– D’Arcy Short and David Malan will open for the hurricanes. Short has the highest impact rate when it comes to the BBL and contributes through both bat and bowl. He will bat along with world’s best T20 batsman.
– Young Ben McDermott Will bat at 1 down. McDermott is one of the key players of the team and scored 135 runs in 2 games.
– Pater Handscomb will bat at 2 down. Handscomb will be a important part of the brittle Hobart middle order. He will also keep the Wickets.
– Experienced Colin Ingram will bat at 3 down. Ingram provides a lot of Balance to the team. He scored 54 in 1st game and 19 in last game.
