– England with a completely new and inexperienced squad won a one sided contest in the 1st game. Saqib Mahmood completed bamboozled the Pakistani lineup in the powerplay itself. English team will look to go with a same XI.
– Phil Salt and Dawid Malan will open the innings. Malan is one of the most experienced guy in the team with 5000+ List A runs. Malan remained not out on 68 while Salt was out cheaply.
– Zak Crawley will bat at 1 down and James Vince at 2 down. Crawley has an excellent record when it comes to England scoring 378 runs in 3 innings. Vince didn’t got chance to bat in 1st ODI.
– Ben Stokes will bat at 3 down followed by Wicket keeper John Simpson. Stokes played for Durham in T20 blast and looked good with both bat and bowl. Stokes bowled just a over last game.
– Matt Parkinson will lead the spin attack. He will be the lone spinner and was very effective with 2 Wickets last game.
– Craig Overton, Saqib Mahmood, Brydon Carse, Lewis Gregory and Ben Stokes will lead the pace attack.
PAK –
– Haris Sohail has been ruled out of the odi series and which means team can’t make much changes in their Batting order.
– Imam ul haq and Fakhar Zaman will open the innings. Both are completely opposite in batting style but form a really good partnership. Imam was out on a 2nd ball duck but has a good record against England and will be an important pick this game.
– Babar Azam will bat at 1 down. Babar has been on his top form from the last 1-2 years and his form will be important to decide to outcome of the series. He was out on duck last game.
– Mohammad Rizwan will bat at 2 down followed by Shoaib Maqsood and Saud Shakeel. Maqsood recently won the player of series award in PSL2021. Rizwan will keep the Wickets.
– Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf will contribute through both bat and bowl. Shadab Scored 30 last game.
– Shadab Khan will handle the spin department. He is not in good form as a bowler but still can keel his place.
– Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali and Faheem Ashraf will lead the pace bowling of team.
