– The Capitals have moved from Mumbai to Chennai after winning 2 of the 3 games at Wankhede against CSK and PBKS. Team can go with an extra spin option in this game.
 
– Anrich Nortje has finished his quarantine and started training. He has high chances of playing.
 
– The four probable foreign players will be Chris Woakes, Marcus Stoinis, Steven Smith and Kagiso Rabada.
 
– Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan will be opening for Delhi. Both of them are having a blash this season and are playing very attacking Cricket. Dhawan missed out on yet another ton last game and was out on 91.
 
– Steve Smith will bat at 1 down. Smith is known for his consistency and will be an important part of the setup in absence of Iyer. He was out cheaply on 9 last game.
 
– Rishab Pant will bat at 2 down followed by Marcus Stoinis at 5. Pant will look to continue his golden patch and will also keep the Wickets.

– Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock will open the game. Rohit is going through a golden patch of form. De kock was out on 40 last game but has a very poor record at Chennai with just 66 runs in 6 games.
 
– Surya Kumar Yadav will bat at 1 down. Surya has been excellent form last 2-3 years scoring consistently 400+ in every season. He was out after scoring a fine 54 last 2nd game.
 
– Ishan Kishan will bat at 2 down. Ishan was team highest scorer last season and also got a chance in the national team where he scored a 50 on debut. He haven’t performed according to his standards yet this season.
 
– Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya followed by Big Kieron Pollard will be the Allrounders for MI. Hardik haven’t bowled in this IPL yet.
