DC –
– The Capitals lost their last game against RCB and are at the 3rd position in the points table with 4 wins in 6 games. They are still going very strong innthe tournament and are favorates to win this game.
– Ravi Ashwin gas left the team due to personal reasons and will miss rest of the IPL.
– The four probable foreign players will be Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Steven Smith/Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada.
– Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan will be opening for Delhi. Both of them are having a blast this season and are playing very attacking Cricket. Dhawan is currently the 2nd Highest scorer and will look to continue his good form.
– Steve Smith/Ajinkya Rahane will bat at 1 down. Smith is known for his consistency but haven’t showed any in last few games. Rahane can be a direct replacement for Smith this game.
– Rishab Pant will bat at 2 down followed by Marcus Stoinis at 5. Pant scored his 2nd 50 of season last game but played very slow.
– Shimron Hetmyer and Axar Patel will bat after Stoinis. Hetmyer played his one of the best knocks of IPL last game against RCB but failed to win it for the team.
– Axar Patel and Amit Mishra will be the spin options for the Capitals. Both of them have been very good in last 2-3 games.

– Team’s likely foreign players will be Eoin Morgan, Andre Russell, Pat Cummins and Sunil Narine.
– Shubham Gill and Nitish Rana will open the Innings. Both are youngster and will be important for team’s success. Gill has been completed out of form this series and is unable to middle the ball, still he is teams premier Indian player and should play.
– Young Tripathi will bat at 1 down. He is a aggressive player and was brilliant in 1st game where he scored 59 runs but is very inconsistent.
– Captain Morgan will bat at 2 down followed by Dinesh Karthik. Morgan after a lot of failures finally played a big knock of 47.
– Andre Russell will bat next and play the role of finisher. He smashed 54 of just 22 balls with 6 massive sixes against CSK but is Batting very low according to his standards.
– Varun Chakravarthy, Sunil Narine will handle the spin section. Varun is bowling in powerplay in all games.
