Team News –
CSK –
– After starting the IPL on a winning note CSK lost their both the games against RR and DC which unfortunately kept them at the 8th position in the points table which is rare for a team like CSK. They have the ability to bounce back hard and their record against SRH shows it.
– Bravo is 100% fit according to team coach so he will be playing this game along with Ambati Rayudu.
– Shane Watson, Faf Du Plessis, Sam Curran and DJ Bravo will be their likely 4 foreign players.
– Shane Watson and Murali Vijay/Ruturaj Gaikwad will open for CSK. Watson has been very rusty nowadays and has flopped in all the games same as for vijay who is unable to score even 20 runs. Gaikwad could be a better option for Vijay at top.
– Faf Du Plessis will bat 1 down. Faf has been yhe only positive for CSK who has been scoring runs in every game with 2 50s in 3 games.
– Ambati Rayudu will bat at 2 down. Rayudu who was injured after scoring 71 in 1st game is back and is a must pick this game.
– Kedar Jadhav and MSD will bat at 3 and 4 down respectively. Kedar will contribute through bowl also. MSD is batting very low this IPL which is indirectly costing the team.
– Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran will do the late hitting for CSK. Both Curran and Jaddu were promoted over Dhoni last game. Curran was promoted at 2 down in 2 games.
– Ravindra Jadeja and Piyush Chawla will be the spinners for CSK and will be assisted by unorthodox type Kedar Jadhav. Chawla took 2 Wickets but was very expensive in both last games.
– Deepak Chahar, Sam Curran and DJ Bravo will handle the pace attack. Chahar and Bravo will bowl in death.
