– The Barbados Royals previously known as Tridents are 2 times champions and have a very good squad to choose from.
– Team have brought in Glenn Phillips and English spinner Jake lintott for this season. Both are in excellent form from T20 blast.
– Team will open with Johnson Charles and Shai Hope. Charles is an evergreen customer in t20 cricket known for his power hitting while Hope is technically sound and will also keep the Wickets.
– Glenn Phillips will bat at 1 down.
Phillips has been in excellent form this t20 blast and in domestic games. He can also bowl if required.
– Young Kyle Mayers will bat next followed by Azam Khan. Azam khan the young pakistani have really impressed everyone with his striking.
– Thisara Perera and Jason Holder will be the Allrounders with the Royals.
– Hayden Walsh Jr and Ashley Nurse will lead the spin attack.
– Jason Holder, Thisara Perera Mohammad Amir and any 1 of Raymon Reifer/Oshane Thomas will lead the pace bowling of Barbados.
SKN –
– St Kitts had a poor tournament last year where they won just 1 game out of 10 and were placed last.
– Team have made few changes in their squad from last year which will be lead by Dwayne Bravo.
– Ravi Bopara from England , Paul van Meekeren from Netherlands, Fawad Ahmed from Australia and Asif Ali from Pakistan are their new recruits this season.
– Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis will open the innings. Both lefties dont need any intro and will attack from word go.
– Joshua da Silva can bat 1 down. He is a young takent and performed good in the limited opportunity he got.
– Ravi Bopara and Asif Ali will handle the middle order. Bopara can bowl 2-3 overs.
– Sherfane Rutherford, Fabian Allen and DJ Bravo will provide the late hitting. All are excellent hitters.
– Fawad Ahmed and Fabian Allen will handle the spin department. Chris Gayle also will assist them.
– Rayad Emrit, Sheldon Cottrell and DJ Bravo will be the pace attack of St Kitts.
