– Travis Head and Michael Neser is back for the Strikers and will directly come into the XI.
– Philip Salt will open the innings along with Matt Renshaw. Salt has always been a hit miss candidate but is playing some good Cricket recently. Renshaw scored back to back 30+ scores opening the innings.
– Travis Head will bat 1 down. Head is back after the test series where he looked down and out but is an important player in case of T20s.
– Captain Alex Carey will bat 2 down. Carey will also keep the Wickets. He opened in last game and if he does so Renshaw will be demoted down.
– Jono Wells will bat next. Wells was among the top 5 scorers last season and will be an important pick in case of top order failure.
– Weatherald will bat at 3 down. Weatherald who generally opens is Batting low from last 3 games and this move gave position results so team will look forward to play him at the same position.
– Danny Briggs and Liam O Connor will lead the spin department. Briggs is highest Wicket taker in English domestic Cricket. Travis Head can assist him.
– Wes Agar, Peter Siddle and Harry Conway will be leading the pace attack for Adelaide. Siddle didn’t played last game while both Conway and Agar were Wicket less.
HEA –
– Brisbane Heat will be delighted by the arrival of Marnus Labuschagne and their Star spinner Mitchell Swepson into the squad.
– Max Bryant will open the innings along with Chris Lynn. Bryant looked very good in all the games he played and is playing very attacking Cricket. Lynn scored 56, 50, 27 in last 3 games.
– Joe Denly will bat at 1 down. Denly will contribute through both bat and off spin bowl. He scored 31 ball 26 last game.
– Marnus Labuschagne will bat at 2 down. Labushagne is back in the squad after being the highest scorer in the test series against India. He can also bowl.
– Lewis Gregory and Jack Wildermuth will bat in middle. Both are big hitters and can score really quick and will also bowl their bowling quota.
– Jimmy Peirson will bat next and will keep the Wickets. Pierson scored a brilliant 69 of just 36 balls against Hurricanes game.
– Matthew Kuhnemann and Mitchell Swepson will likely handle the spin attack for Brisbane.
– Morne Morkel, Mark Stekette and Jack Wildermuth will handle the pace attack. Lewis Gregory and James Bazley if plays will assist them. Morkel and Wildermuth shared 2 Wickets each last game.
