– The defending champions are again in the Finals and will be playing the scorchers who they defeated in the qualifier.
– Josh Philippe and James Vince will open for sixers. Phillips as like last season is highest 2nd highest scorer this season as well. Vince played his career best knock of 98* last game against the same opponents.
– Moises Henriques will bat 1 down. He is one of the highest scorers in BBL history with 1700+ runs. He scored 43(25b) last 2nd game.
– Daniel Hughes and Jordan Silk will bat at 2 and 3 down respectively. Both have played over 50 games for the franchise and are very experienced. Silk has been batting brilliant in every game he gets to bat.
– Daniel Christian and Carlos Brathwaith will handle the allround duties. Brathwaith has been really good this BBL with Wicket in very game.
– Steve O Keefe/Ben Maneti will lead the spin attack. O keefe will be extremely important this game onnthis Sydney pitch.
– Ben Dwarshius, Sean Abbott, Dan Christian, and Carlos Brathwaith will be the pace attack for Sixers with Dwarshius and Abbott bowling in the death.
SCO –
– The Scorchers won the Challenger game against the Heat which was a one sided contest. They will be facing Sixers against whom they lost 2 times this season.
– Jason Roy didn’t played last game. He is still in the squad but his fitness is still under observation.
– Cameron Bancroft and Liam Livingston will open the innings. Livingston has been brilliant in past 4-5 games where he’s been contributing with both bat and bowl. He was out on 77 last game. Bancroft scored 58 last game.
– Colin Munro will bat at 1 down. He is one of the most attacking batsman in t20s and surprisingly has been very consistent this BBL with 441 runs.
– Wicket keeper Josh Inglis will bat at 2 down. Inglis bats with a excellent strike rate of 150+ but isn’t that consistent. He scored 69 last game played against the sixers.
– Mitchell Marsh will be Batting next followed by Ashton Turner .Turner is very important in that middle order with his SR of 134. Marsh promoted himself at no 3 last game.
– Fawad Ahmed the leggie will lead the spin attack. Liam Livingston and Ashton Turner can assist him.
– Jhye Richardson, Andrew Tye and Jason Behrendorff will be the pace attack of team. Aaron Hardie will assist them. Jhye Richardson has been team’s highest wicket taker.
