HEA –
– Brisbane Heat lost their last game against Sixers and now are in a pretty bad situation with 16 points in 9 games.
– Mujeeb Ur Rahaman has left Australia for his National duties. While Pacer Morne Morkel has joined the squad.
– Max Bryant will open the innings along with Chris Lynn. Bryant looked very good in all the games he played and is playing very attacking Cricket. Lynn scored 56 last game when all other batters failed with bat.
– Joe Denly will bat at 1 down. Denly will contribute through both bat and off spin bowl. He scored a match winning 50 last 2nd game.
– Joe Burns will bat 2 down. Burns generally opens but due to his downfall as an opener he batted 2 down and scored a brilliant 50 last 2nd game.
– Lewis Gregory and Jack Wildermuth will bat in middle. Both are big hitters and can score really quick and will also bowl their bowling quota.
– Jimmy Peirson will bat next and will keep the Wickets. Pierson scored a brilliant 69 of just 36 balls against Hurricanes game.
– Matthew Kuhnemann will likely handle the spin attack for Brisbane as Mujeeb will not play. Jorle Denly can assist him.
– Xavier Bartlett/Morne Morkel, Mark Stekette and Jack Wildermuth will handle the pace attack. Lewis Gregory and James Bazley will assist them.
REN –
– Melbourne Renegades are having even worst outing than last season with just 2 win in their 9 games. They had a great win last game against the Strikers by 6 Wickets.
– Mohammad Nabi had left Australia due to National duties while Shaun Marsh is back in the squad which is a major boost for the team.
– Captain Aaron Finch will open the Innings along with Shaun Marsh. Finchy hasn’t been on his best this BBL but is a quality batsman and can play big anyday.
– Young Sam Harper will bat at 1 down. Harper attacks from the very 1st ball and but has been very inconsistent. He will also keep the Wickets.
– Beau Webster will bat in middle followed by Imad Wasim. Both will contribute through both bat and bowl. They have bug roles to play in absence of Nabi.
– Noor Ahmad and Imad Wasim will be handling the spin duties. Imad was brilliant last game where he picked 1 Wicket and was very economical.
– Kane Richardson, Jack Prestwidge will be leading the pace attack. Kane took 1 while Prestwidge 2 Wickets last game.
