Team News –
SCO –
– The Scorchers have declared a same 13 member squad which won against the Heat last game. Matthew Kelly starred the show with 4 wicket haul.

– Mitch Marsh and Josh Inglis are unavailable for selection, both flown to Brisbane for Australia A’s Test versus England Lions. They are likely to be available by 14th December.

– Munro will open along with Cameron Bancroft with Kurtis Patterson at 3. Munro was leading run scorer for Perth last season but was out cheaply on 3 last game, Patterson looked brilliant with his 55 last game.

– Laurie Evans will bat at 2 down followed by Skipper Ashton Turner. Evans is quite experienced of a cricketer when it comes to t20s, Turner is an important player in the middle, especially in absence of Mitchell Marsh.

– Aaron Hardie amd Ashton Agar will be the Allrounder in team. Hardie can strike the ball big.

– Ashton Agar and Peter Hatzoglou will lead the spin attack. Both are quality spinner, Hatzoglou’s left arm wrist spin took everyone with surprise last season. Both shared a wicket each last game.

– Andrew Tye, Jason Behrendorff, Matthew Kelly and Aaron Hardie will lead the pace bowling of team.

STR –
– Adelaide Strikers have named a 15-player squad for their encounter against Perth which has Fawas Ahmed included in it.

– Jake Weatherald and Matthew Short will open for the Strikers. Weatherald had a stellar last season where he scored 400+ runs. Short is a attacking lad and can also bowl some off spin.

– Harry Nielsen will keep the Wickets and bat at 1 down. Haven’t got much chance to showcase his skills, scored 14 of 15 balls.

– Jono Wells and Daniel Drew will handle the middle school. Wells is an attacking and very consistent batsman and scored 37 against Renegades last game.

– Rashid Khan will lead the spin attack. Matthew short can bowl a few overs if needed. Fawas if plays can play an important role against their ex team.

– George Garton, Peter Siddle, Wes Agar and Daniel Worrall will lead the pace attack of team.
