– Hurricanes have declared a 15 member squad for the 2nd game against Sixers which will be lead by Matthew Wade.
– Ben McDermott and Riley Meredith are not part of the this game due to injuries. Jordan Thompson is available for selection and will make his BBL debut.
– Matthew Wade and D’Arcy Short will open the innings. Both are one of the best opening pair in BBL and attacks from word go. Wade will also keep the Wickets.
– Caleb Jewell will bat at 1 down as Ben McDermott is not part of squad. Decent batsman scores a bit slow. Peter Handscomb will follow Jewell and will be an important player in that middle order. Handscomb scored 47 while Jewell 20 last game.
– Hard hitting Tim David will bat in middle with English Allrounder Tom Lammnoby and Jordan Thompson to follow. All 3 are very aggressive hitters and can be promoted if needed.
– Sandeep Lammichhane and Tom Lammonby will lead the spin attack.
– Nathan Ellis, Joel Paris and Thomas Rogers and Jordan Thompson will lead the pace attack of team.
SIX –
– The defending champions started their 2021 season with 2 wins in 2 games and will look for a hat-trick of wins now as their premium pacer Ben Dwarshuis is also back.
– Josh Phillippe and James Vince will open the Innings. Both were among the top 3 leading runs scorers last season and will look to continue the same form. Both started in attacking fashion with Phillippe went on to score 83 in 1st game while were out cheaply in 2nd.
– Moises Henriques will bat at 1 down. He is one of the most experienced guy in the team and is in very good form, he scored 76 in 1st game while 73 in last game.
– Jordan Silk and Daniel Hughes will handle the middle order with Christian and Curran to follow.
– Steve O’Keefe will lead the spin section. Ben Maneti if plays will be important pick.
