– Bangladesh will play their 2nd home series this year after defeating Windies team 3-0 in Jan.
– Shakib Al Hasan is back in the squad after missing the last tour of New Zealand.
– Tamim Iqbal and Litton Das will open the innings. Tamim is very experienced and has excellent record on this venue with 3500+ runs. Litton Das is an attacking but very inconsistent Batsman.
– Shakib Al Hasan will bat at 1 down. Shakib will contribute through both bat and bowl and is one of the best Allrounders in white ball Cricket. He however looked out of color with both bat and bowl in IPL.
– Mushfiqur Rahim will bat next at 2 down and will keep the Wickets.
– Mohammad Mithun and Mahmudullah Riyad will be Batting in the middle. Mahmudullah is very experienced and will be crusial in that middle order along with Rahim.
– Shakib Al Hasan and Mehdi Hasan will handle the spin attack. Mahmudullah can assist them.
– Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman and Mohammad Saifuddin will lead the pace attack.

– Sri Lanka will be touring Bangladesh after their heavy 3-0 defeat against West Indies and have declared a young squad with many fresh faces.
– Sri lanka has omitted a lot of Senior players like Dinesh Chandimal, Angelo Mathews, and ex skipper Dimuth Karunaratne from the squad and Kusal Perera has been appointed as the new ODI Captain.
– Sri Lanka played a Intra squad 40 overs game where A Bhandara, Hasaranga, Kusal Mendis and Niroshan Dickwella scored 50+ scores while Young Chamika Karunaratne was the star of show scoring 35 with bat and picking 3 Wickets.
– Danushka Gunathilaka and Kusal Perera will most likely open the innings. Gunathilaka has been going through a excellent form and was highest scorer for Sri Lanka in last series. Perera will keep the Wickets.
– Kusal Mendis will bat at 1 down. Mendis is going through a poor run but has good h2h record against Bangladesh.
– Dhananjaya De Silva will bat next at 2 down followed by Dickwella at 5. De Silva has been awarded grade A contract from Sri Lanka. Dickwella Scored a brilliant 88 in practise game.
– Wanindu Hasaranga and Chamika Kapugedara will be the Allrounders of the team. Hasaranga has been excellent since last year and half and has proven a valuable asset both with bat and bowl.
– Kapugedara was good with both bat and bowl scoring 35 and taking 3 Wickets in the practice game recently.
– Ashen Bhandara can also get a game in middle order due to good display of Batting in practice game.
– Wanindu Hasaranga and Laqshan Sandakan will be important in spin section.
– Isuru Udana, D Chameera, Chamika Kapugedara will lead the pace attack.
