– Australia won the T20 series 2-1 and are firm favourites to win the ODI series too.
– Ellyse Perry has been ruled out of the ODI series. Dellissa Kimmince is also risky starting this game due to a hamstring injury.
– Any 1 of Tahila McGrath or Belinda Wakarewa will play this game if Kimmince doesn’t play.
– Alyssa Healy and Rachel Haynes will open the innings. Healy attacks from word go while Haynes is more a technical type player. Haynes scored 118 runs against Sri Lanka at rhe same Ground last year.
– Meg Lanning will bat at 1 down. She is ranked 5th in the ODi rankings . She has an excellent record when it comes against New Zealand with 450+ runs .
– Ashleigh Gardner and Beth Mooney will hold the middle order. Mooney opens in t20 but will play role of finisher in ODIs.
– Sophie Molineux, Jess Jonassen and Nicola Carey will do the all round duties for Australia.
– Jess Jonassen, Sophie Molineux and G Wareham will be the key to spin department. Molineux took a 5-fer in practice game. Gardner can assist them. Wareham took 5 while Molineux 2 Wickets in t20 series.
– Megan Shutt, Nicola Carey and Tahila McGrath/Belinda Wakarewa will be handed the responsibility of pace attack. Shutt took 4 Wickets in 1st game of t20 series.
NZW –
– New Zealand after loosing the series ended it on a high note winning the last game . Amelia kerr was the key to New Zealand victory who scored attacking 18 of 10 balls and also took w Wickets. New Zealand will hope for a vetter performance in ODI Series.
– Captain Sophie Devine and Maddy Green will open the Innings. Devine is the backbone of New Zealand Batting as well as bowling. Maddy Green will also bowl.
– Suzie Bates , one of worlds best batsman will bat 1 down. She has scored the highest runs for new Zealand against Australia.
– Amy Sattherwaite will bat at 2 down. Amy is back after a big maternity break of 18 months . She had a decent t20 series with 69 runs in 3 games.
– Katey Martin will do the Wicket keeping. Amelia Kerr will bat next. She is a very dependable Batsman.
– Amelia Kerr will be leading the spin attack. She is a very good bowler who can also bat.
