Team News –
AUS –
– Team Australia won the ODI series already with a game to game. They had got a big blow in form of Warner who has beem ruled out of the last game as well as the T20 series. Pat Cummins will also not play.
– Aaron Finch and Matthew Wade/Alex Carey will open the Innings. Finch after a 100 in 1st game scored 60 in 2nd game. Matthew Wade or Laex Carey will open with Finch.
– Mr Consistent Steven Smith will bat 1 down. Smith showed his class scoring 2 back to back 100s of 62 balls each.
– Marnus Labushagne will bat 2 down. Labushagne has been very consistent in both test and ODIs. He scored 70 runs last game.
– Glenn Maxwell and Moises Henriques will be the Allrounders for Australia. Maxwell has been batting at the 6th gear in this series with 63″ of just 29 balls.
– Adam Zampa will lead the spin attack. Glenn Maxwell can assist him. Zampa was the pick of the bowlers with 4 Wickets in 1st game and 2 in 2nd game.
– Sean Abbott, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazelwood will be the pace attack of Australia. Moises Henriques will assist them. Hazelwood was brilliant in both the games while Starc looked completely out of touch leaking a lot of runs and being wicketless.
IND –
– Team India lost the 2nd game and the series as well. This will be a game of pride as well as to avoid the series whitewash.
– Mayank Agrawal and Shikhar Dhawan will open for India. Dhawan and Mayank both were in thier peak form this IPL. Both looked good at the start but gave their Wickets early.
– Virat Kohli will bat at his no 3 position. Virat had a slightly decent season with 400+ runs according to his standards. He finally got some runs last game and missed his 44th ton by just 11 runs.
– Shreyas Iyer will bat 2 down. Iyer has cemented his place at no 4. He had a poor IPL but can be back in form with just 1-2 innings.
– KL Rahul will bat at 3 down in ODIs. KL was the leading scorer this IPL and will be also keeping the Wickets. He scored 76 last game.
– Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja will be the Allrounders for India , Pandya bowled last game which was a big boost to India.
– Yuzi Chahal/Ravindra Jadeja/Kuldeep Yadav will be leading the spin attack. Any 2 of them will play. Kuldeep is almost a sure starter this game.
– Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami and Shardul Thakur/T Natarajan will likely be the pace attack. Shami was brilliant with his 3 Wickets in 1st game but he and Bumrah both were very expensive last game.

Pitch Report –
Manuka Oval, Canberra
The Manuka Oval at Canberra has been good to the batsmen in the past few games played there. There will be some assistance offered to both spinners and the seamers. However, it won’t be easy for the bowlers if they don’t get early wickets.
