– Team Australia lost the first T20 games after being in the game most if the time. They failed to counter Indian spin attack and their brittle lower order couldn’t do it for them.
– Mitchell Starc has opted out of the t20 series and will not play the remainder of the series.
– Aaron Finch and D Arcy Short will open the Innings. Finch was the leading scorer in ODI Series with 2 50s and 1 hundred while Scored attacking 35 in 1st t20. Short scored 34 but at a very slow rate.
– Mr Consistent Steven Smith will bat 1 down. Smith showed his class scoring 2 back to back 100s of 62 balls each in tue ODIs.
– Glenn Maxwell and Moises Henriques will be the Allrounders for Australia. Maxwell has been batting at the 6th gear in this series with scores of 45, 63 and 59. Henriques was brilliant scoring 30 runs and picking up 3 Wickets last game.
– Adam Zampa will lead the spin attack along with Mitchell Swepson. Glenn Maxwell can assist him. Zampa was the pick of the bowlers with 7 Wickets last Series.
– Sean Abbott, Andrew Tye/Daniel Sams and Josh Hazelwood will be the pace attack of Australia. Moises Henriques will assist them. Hazelwood was brilliant in all 3 games while Starc who was brilliant in last game will not play.
IND –
– Team India started the T20 series with a bang winning the 1st game by 11 runs defending a Average total of 161.
– Ravi Jadeja is ruled out of the T20 series due a hamstring after playing a match winning innings of 44 of just 23 balls.
– KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan will open for India. Dhawan and Rahul both were in thier peak form this IPL scoring 600+ runs. Rahul scored another 50 but dhawan was out cheaply on 1.
– Virat Kohli will bat next at 1 down. Virat had a slightly decent season with 400+ runs according to his standards. He scored 2 50s in ODI series.
– Sanju Samson will bat at 2 down. Samson looked brilliant in last game hitting a monstrous six but gave his Wicket away.
– Manish Pandey will bat at 3 down in t20s. Pandey was in brilliant form this IPL scoring 440 runs.
– Hardik Pandya and Sunder will be the Allrounders for India , Pandya bowled in ODI series which was a big boost to India.
– Yuzi Chahal and Washington Sunder will be leading the spin attack. Chahal is one of the best bowlers in T20 cricket and proved taking 3 Wickets last game.
– Jasprit Bumrah/Mohammad Shami ,T Natarajan and Deepak Chahar will likely be the pace attack. Bumrah was rested in last ODI and can be done again. T Natarajan took 3 Wickets on his debut.
