– Team Australia as stated wom the 1st game of the series by a big 66 run margin with Finch and Smith scoring respective 100s and Zampa picking a 4-for.
– Aaron Finch and David Warner the explosive opening pair will open the Innings. Warner was in great form this IPL scoring 600+ runs while Finch had a poor run with just 1 50+ score. Finch went on to score a big one while warner was out on 69.
– Mr Consistent Steven Smith will bat 1 down. Smith showed his class scoring another ton in just 62 balls making it 3rd fastest by a aussie in ODIs.
– Marnus Labushagne will bat 2 down. Labushagne has been very consistent in both test and ODIs. He was demoted last game.
– Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis will be the Allrounders for Australia. Maxwell was in a very poor form this IPL but smashed a 19 ball 41 including 3 massive hits.
– Adam Zampa will lead the spin attack. Glenn Maxwell can assist him. Zampa was the pick of the bowlers with 4 Wickets last game.
– Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazelwood will be the pace attack of Australia. Marcus Stoinis will assist them. Hazelwood was brilliant with his swing taking 3 Wickets while both Starc and Cummins looked rusty.
IND –
– Team India lost their 1st game of the series against Australia and will look to keep the series alive by winning the 2nd game.
– Mayank Agrawal and Shikhar Dhawan will open for India. Dhawan was in his peak form this IPL. Mayank will look to cement his place in absence of Rohit Sharma. Both of them started in a attacking fashion but were Mayank went for one shot many while Dhawan scored 76.
– Virat Kohli will bat at his preferred no 3 position. Virat had a slightly decent season with 400+ runs according to his standards. He started good with quick boundaries but was out on 21.
– Shreyas Iyer will bat 2 down. Iyer has cemented his place at no 4. He had a poor IPL but can be back in form with just 1-2 innings.
– KL Rahul will bat at 3 down in ODIs. KL was the leading scorer this IPL and will be also keeping the Wickets.
– Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja will be the Allrounders for India , however Pandya is not bowling but can bowl anyday.
– Yuzi Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja will be leading the spin attack. Jadeja was bowling good as many catches were dropped on his bowling.
– Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami and Navdeep Saini/Shardul Thakur will be the 3 man pace attack. Shami was brilliant with his 3 Wickets while both Saini and Bumrah were expensive last game.
