Team News –
RCB –
– Royal Challenges Bangalore after a comprehensive victory against SRH were completely demolished against the KXIP where they lost by a big margin of 97 runs.
– Chris Morris is having a side strain and will be likely out for more 1 2 games as confirmed by the coach himself.
– Isuru Udana has high chances of playing this game as Dale Steyn is looking very much out of form and leaking a lot of runs.
– Moeen Ali and Zampa has been seen practising a lot so any 1 of them can get a game for Phillipe who becomes totally useless at that no 5 position.
– Their Likely 4 foreign players will be Aaron Finch, ABD, Josh Philippe/Adam Zampa/Moeen Ali and Iruru Udana.
– Aaron Finch and Young Devdutt Padikal will open the innings. Finch is a world class batter while Padikal showed his class in 1st game itself scoring a brilliant 50. Both of them had a poor outing last game but are very good players.
– Virat Kohli will bat 1 down. Virat has been slightly out of colours in last 2 games failing with bat and also poor in field. He will however still be the best player in team.
– AB De Villiers will follow his best friend at 2 down. He has retired from International cricket but can still hit it big. He averages 51 against MI with 600+ runs in 16 games.
– Moeen Ali/Josh Philippe and Shivam Dube will bat in middle and should also play the role of late hitter.
– Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sunder will lead the spin section while Moeen ali if plays will join them.
– Umesh Yadav/Mohammad Siraj, Isuru Udana and Navdeep Saini will be the likely pace attack with Saini and Udana will be bowling in death. Umesh has been leaking a lot of runs and also is wicketless in both games which will make way for Mohammad Siraj.
MI –
– MI had a bad start to their IPL 2020 but did a brilliant comeback by winning against KKR by 49 runs with all three pacers sharing 2 wickets each and Rohit being the leading scorer with 80 runs.
– Quinton de Kock, Kieron Pollard, Trent Boult and James Pattinson will be their likely 4 foreign players.
– Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock will open the innings. Both will attack from the ball 1 especially De Kock. Rohit scored a brilliant 80(54b) last game.
– Suryakumar Yadav will bat 1 down. He had an excellent domestic season scoring lots of runs while also scored 400+ runs in last IPL. He was out on 47 last game.
– Saurabh Tiwary will bat 2 down. Tiwary made a very good comeback with 42 in 1st game and 21 in 2nd.
– Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard will bat next followed by Krunal Pandya. All three are forming the most dependable middle and lower middle order in the IPL whith both Pandya and Pollard playing the finishers role. Both can be promoted any day.
– Rahul Chahar the young leggie will lead the spin attack along with left arm spinner Krunal Pandya. Rahul took 2 Wickets while Krunal bowled just 1 over last game.
– Jasprit Bumrah , Trent Boult and James Pattinson will lead the pace attack. Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard (1-2 overs) will assist them.
