Team News –
MI –
– Mumbai Indians the 5 time champions will play their 1st gane outside chennai after winning 2 of their 5 games at Cheoauk. The stadium will suit the batting style of team which haven’t fired yet this tournament.
– Quinton de Kock, Kieron Pollard, Trent Boult and Adam Milne/NCN will be team’s likely foreigners.
– Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock will open the game. Rohit is in very good form and was out on 63 last game but his partner is completely out of form.
– Surya Kumar Yadav will bat at 1 down. Surya has been excellent form last 2-3 years scoring consistently 400+ in every season. He is scoring runs in 20s but unable to convert it into a big score.
– Ishan Kishan will bat at 2 down. Ishan was team highest scorer last season and also got a chance in the national team where he scored a 50 on debut. He haven’t performed according to his standards yet this season.
– Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya followed by Big Kieron Pollard will be the Allrounders for MI. Hardik haven’t bowled in this IPL yet.
– Rahul Chahar, Jayant Yadav and Krunal Pandya will lead the spin attack. Chahar has been excellent in 1st 5 games where he has picked 9 Wickets.
– Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult and Adam Milne/Nathan Coulter Nile will lead the pace bowling. Pollard will assist them.
RR –
– Royals have won just 2 game now from their 5 games and this game is a very important game for them considering their position in the points table. They will most likely play a same XI from their win last game.
– Teams 4 foreign players will be Jos Buttler, Chris Morris, Mustafizur Rahman and David Miller.
– Y Jaiswal and Jos Buttler will open the innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal is a young Talented opener and looked good in his short stay at the Crease last game.
– Captain Sanju Samson will bat at 1 down. Sanju looked good at the initial stages of the season but is very inconsistent. He played a matured inning of 42 in last game to win it for the royals.
– David Miller and Riyan Parag will bat in middle. Miller was excellent in game against Delhi scoring 63 but failed in next 3 games.
– Chris Morris, Rahul Tewatia and Shivam Dube will form a solid middle order and contribute through both bat and bowl. Dube was striking the ball really good last 2nd game against RCB scoring 46 runs.
– Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag will handle the spin department. Shreyas Gopal played last 2nd game but don’t think will make into the XI this game.
– Chris Morris, Chetan Sakariya, Jaydev Unadkat and Mustafizur Rahman will form the pace attack of Rajasthan.
