– Sunrisers finally won their 1st game of the season after loosing the 1st 3 games. Team will most likely go with an unchanged XI.
– Sunrisers made a lot of changes in last game, they also bought back Mr Consistent Kane Williamson and now team looks in good balance.
– T Natarajan has been ruled out of the entire IPL while Abdul Samad was ruled out in last game due to a Hamstring injury, he will most likely be out for more 2-3 games.
– Team’s likely 4 foreign players will be David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Rashid Khan, Kane Williamson.
– David Warner and Jonny Bairstow will open the innings. Warner is getting good starts but is unable to make it into a big one. Bairstow is very dangerous when opens and scored 63 last game.
– Kane Williamson will bat at 1 down. Kane is a world class Batsman and was out in 1st 4 games due to some injury. He scored 16 last game.
– Young Virat Singh , Abhishek Sharma and Vijay Shankar will handle the middle order. They have depth in Batting but are very unreliable.
– Rashid Khan and Abhishek will lead the spin section. Both were brilliant last game against Punjab picking 3 Wickets in total.
– Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed and Siddhart Kaul will lead the pace attack. Vijay Shankar will assist them with his medium pace.
DC –
– The Capitals won their last game against the defending champions and are looking as dangerous as last season. Team will likely go unchanged but can bring in Axar Patel who has came out of quarantine.
– The four probable foreign players will be Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Steven Smith and Kagiso Rabada.
– Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan will be opening for Delhi. Both of them are having a blast this season and are playing very attacking Cricket. Dhawan is currently the Orange cap holder and will look to continue his good form.
– Steve Smith will bat at 1 down. Smith is known for his consistency and will be an important part of the setup especially to counter Rashid Khan.
– Rishab Pant will bat at 2 down followed by Marcus Stoinis at 5. Pant will look to continue his golden patch and will also keep the Wickets.
– Shimron Hetmyer and Lalit Yadav will bat after Stoinis. Hetmyer played his 1st game this season against MI.
– Lalit Yadav/Axar Patel, Amit Mishra and Ravi Ashwin will be the spin options for the Capitals. Mishra was exceptional last game with 4 Wickets.
– Kagiso Rabada, Marcus Stoinis and Avesh Khan will lead the pace attack with Rabada and Avesh bowling in death.
