Team News –
RCB –
– RCB are looking brilliant this season with 2 back to back wins against MI and SRH. RCB will not do much alterations with the team combination.
– Adam Zampa, Daniel Sams and Kane Richardson are available for selection in this game. Sams is likely to get a game in place of Christian.
– Virat Kohli will open along with Devdutt Padikkal. Paddikal has been in red hot form in Syed Mushtaq as well as Vijay Hazare trophy and will look to utilize this form for the team’s success along with Virat who averages 50+ against KKR.
– Shahbaz Ahmed will bat at 1 down. Shahbaz was promoted at 1 down in last game to score some quick runs. He was out on 14 but was brilliant picking up 3 Wickets in a over last game.
– Glenn Maxwell will bat at 2 down followed my Mr 360 at 5. Maxwell has been brilliant in the 1st 2 games. He played a match winning knock of 59 on a Wicket where likes of Virat and AB were struggling.
– Kyle Jamieson and Dan Christian/Daniel Sams along with Washington Sunder will play the role of Allrounders. Sunder as the only left hander in team can anytime come up the order.
– Yuzi Chahal, Shahbaz Ahmed and Washington Sundar will handle the spin section. Glenn Maxwell can assist them who haven’t bowled till now.
– Kyle Jamieson, Harshal Patel, Mohammad Siraj and Daniel Sams/Daniel Christian will be the pace attack of RCB.
KKR –
– KKR lost their last game against MI which was a chose while chasing a small target of 150. KKR can bring in Lochie Ferguson in place of Shakib-Al-Hasan who is Batting very low which doesn’t suits his batting style.
– Team’s likely foreign players will be Eoin Morgan, Andre Russell, Pat Cummins and Lochie Ferguson/Shakib Al Hasan.
– Shubham Gill and Nitish Rana will open the Innings. Both are youngster and will be important for team’s success this year especially Gill after his heroics in Australia. Rana is highest scorer of team still now with 2 50s.
– Young Tripathi will bat at 1 down. He is a aggressive player and was brilliant in 1st game where he scored 59 runs.
– Captain Morgan will bat at 2 down followed by Dinesh Karthik. Morgan needs no introduction and will be a game changer in this KKR lineup. DK looked good in the practice game and will keep the Wickets.
– Andre Russell will bat next and will play the role he loves to. Russell will also bowl in death, he took a 5-fer last game.
– Varun Chakravarthy, Harbhajan Singh and Shakib Al Hasan will handle the spin section.
– Pat Cummins, Prasidh Krishna and Andre Russell will lead the pace attack.
