– The Scorchers were placed at 2nd spot before the knockouts but lost the 1st Challenger against Sixers. A win here would take them to the grand finals against Sydney Sixers.
– Jason Roy and Liam Livingston will open the innings. Roy is a very attacking batsman but is inconsistent and going through a bad patch. His partner Livingston is also having a decent run.
– Colin Munro will bat at 1 down. He is one of the most attacking batsman in t20s and surprisingly has been very consistent this BBL with 441 runs.
– Wicket keeper Josh Inglis will bat at 2 down. Inglis bats with a excellent strike rate of 150+ but isn’t that consistent. He scored 69 last game played against the sixers.
– Mitchell Marsh will be Batting next followed by Ashton Turner .Turner is very important in that middle order with his SR of 134. He scored 33 of 22 balls in last game against the sixers.
– Fawad Ahmed the leggie will lead the spin attack. Liam Livingston and Ashton Turner can assist him.
– Jhye Richardson, Andrew Tye and Jason Behrendorff will be the pace attack of team. Aaron Hardie will assist them. Jhye Richardson has been team’s highest wicket taker.

– Joe Denly will open the innings along with Chris Lynn. Lynn is the highest scorer of the team with 436 runs this season. Denly opened but was out on duck last game.
– Marnus Labuschagne will bat at 1 down. Labushagne’s addition jas boosted the Heats a lot. He has contributed through both bat and bowl in all the games he played.
– Sam Heazlett will bat 2 down. Heazlett surprising played the last knockout game and was the man of the match for his match winning 73 run knock. Joe Burns will follow Denly.
– Lewis Gregory and Jack Wildermuth(if plays) will bat in middle. Both are big hitters and can score really quick and will also bowl their bowling quota.
– Jimmy Peirson will bat next and will keep the Wickets. Pierson scored a brilliant 69 of just 36 balls against Hurricanes game.
– Mitchell Swepson and Marnus Labuschagne will handle the spin attack for Brisbane. Labushagne has picked 10 Wickets in 5 games this Season.
– Mark Stekette, Ben Laughlin, Morne Morkel/Jack Wildermuth will handle the pace attack. Lewis Gregory and will assist them. Stekette is team highest wicket taker this season with 24 scalps.
