Team News –
SCO –
– The Scorchers lost their last but still are in a pretty good situation in the points table with 21 points and 4 games to go.
– Jason Roy and Liam Livingston will open the innings. Roy is a very attacking batsman but is inconsistent and going through a bad patch. He will bat along with hard hitting Livingston who had an excellent bbl2019 and scored attacking 67 last game.
– Colin Munro will bat at 1 down. He is one of the most attacking batsman in t20s and surprisingly has been very consistent this BBL with 271 runs.
– Wicket keeper Josh Inglis will bat at 2 down. Inglis bats with a excellent strike rate of 150+ and scored 72 last 3rd game. He will also keep the Wickets.
– Ashton Turner will be batting next followed by Cameron Bancroft. Turner is very important in that middle order with his SR of 134.
– Fawad Ahmed the leggie will lead the spin attack. Liam Livingston and Ashton Turner can assist him.
– Jhye Richardson, Andrew Tye and Jason Behrendorff will be the pace attack of team.
HEA –
– Brisbane Heat won their last game against Renegades and now are in a pretty good situation with 20 points in 10 games.
– Max Bryant will open the innings along with Chris Lynn. Bryant looked very good in all the games he played and is playing very attacking Cricket. Lynn scored 56, 50 in last 2 games.
– Joe Denly will bat at 1 down. Denly will contribute through both bat and off spin bowl. He scored 26 ball 31 last game.
– Joe Burns will bat 2 down. Burns generally opens but due to his downfall as an opener he batted in lower order and proved quite useful. He scored attacking 31(14b) last game.
– Lewis Gregory and Jack Wildermuth will bat in middle. Both are big hitters and can score really quick and will also bowl their bowling quota.
– Jimmy Peirson will bat next and will keep the Wickets. Pierson scored a brilliant 69 of just 36 balls against Hurricanes game.
– Matthew Kuhnemann will likely handle the spin attack for Brisbane as Mujeeb will not play. Joe Denly can assist him.
– Morne Morkel, Mark Stekette and Jack Wildermuth will handle the pace attack. Lewis Gregory and James Bazley will assist them. Stekette took 2 while both Wildermuth and Morkel 1w each.
