STR –
– Alex Carey and Travis Head are not available due to their Australia and Australia A duties. Peter Siddle will lead the team in absence of Travis Head.
– Jake Weatherald and Philip Salt will open the innings. Weatherald will finally play Cricket after taking a big memtal break. Salt had a good BBL last season where he scored 350+ runs.
– Matthew Short will likely bat at 1 down. Short has been really good aspect for the Strikers scoring around 400 runs in last 2 seasons but has taken just 2 Wickets.
– Matt Renshaw and Jono Wells will bat at 2 and 3 down respectively. Renshaw had a very good season for the Heat last year but was still traded for the Strikers. Wells was among the top 5 scorers last season.
– Harry Nielsen will be doing the Wicket keeping for Strikers. Rashid Khan will bat next which shows the weak middle order of strikers.
– Rashid and Danny Briggs will lead the spin department. Briggs is highest Wicket taker in English domestic Cricket.
– Wes Agar, Peter Siddle and Daniel Worall will be leading the pace attack for Adelaide.

– Matthew Wade will be unavailable for the 1st few games due to National duties.

– Experienced Colin Ingram will bat at 1 down. Ingram provides a lot of Balance to the team. He scored 54 runs in last game.
– Pater Handscome will bat at 2 down. Handscome will be a important part of the brittle Hobart middle order. He will also keep the Wickets.
– Tim David and Mac Wright will bat in middle order. Wright scored 2 50s in 4 games last BBL. David was exceptional last game with his 58 of just 33 balls.
