– Team Australia won the ODI series by 2-1 margin, loosing the last game by 13 runs.
– Australia will be without Warner who has injured himself while Pat Cummins has been rested.
– Aaron Finch and Matthew Wade will open the Innings. Finch was again the leading scorer in ODI Series with 2 50s and 1 ton innthe 1st ODI.
– Mr Consistent Steven Smith will bat 1 down. Smith showed his class scoring 2 back to back 100s of 62 balls each.
– Glenn Maxwell and Moises Henriques will be the Allrounders for Australia. Maxwell has been batting at the 6th gear in this series with scores of 45, 63 and 59 .
– Adam Zampa will lead the spin attack along with Ashton Agar. Glenn Maxwell can assist him. Zampa was the pick of the bowlers with 7 Wickets last Series.
– Sean Abbott, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazelwood will be the pace attack of Australia. Moises Henriques will assist them. Hazelwood was brilliant in all 3 games while Starc looked completely out of touch leaking a lot of runs and being wicketless.
IND –
– Team India lost the ODI series but won the last game which can act as a big boost to the entire tour for them.
– Mohamand Shami or Jasprit Bumrah can be rested this game while T Natarajan is all set to make his T20 debut for India.
– KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan will open for India. Dhawan and Rahul both were in thier peak form this IPL scoring 600+ runs.
– Virat Kohli will bat next at 1 down. Virat had a slightly decent season with 400+ runs according to his standards. He scored 2 50s in ODI series.
– Shreyas Iyer will bat 2 down. Iyer has cemented his place at no 4. He had a poor IPL but can be back in form with just 1-2 innings.
– Manish Pandey will bat at 3 down in t20s. Pandey was in brilliant form this IPL scoring 440 runs.
– Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja/Sunder will be the Allrounders for India , Pandya bowled in ODI series which was a big boost to India.
– Yuzi Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja/Washington Sunder will be leading the spin attack. Chahal is one of the best bowlers in T20 cricket. Sunder has high chances to play.
– Jasprit Bumrah/Mohammad Shami ,T Natarajan and Deepak Chahar will likely be the pace attack. Shami was rested in last ODI and can be done again. T Natarajan os a sure starter after his brilliant IPL and debut last ODI.
